“What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens. You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? As He says also in Hosea: “I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved.” “And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ There they shall be called sons of the living God.” Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved. For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth.” And as Isaiah said before: “Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, We would have become like Sodom, And we would have been made like Gomorrah.””

The Lord loves His remnant. His Beloved.

Jesus is the Hope of Israel, and the only resurrected Lord. He is the way, the Truth and the Life. Apart from Him there is no life or hope. There is only vanity, death and eternal destruction in the lake of fire. However, in Him is freedom from sin, and death which are the power of the law of Moses. All who believe in Him and abide in Him are granted an eternal inheritance in heaven. He said I will never leave you nor forsake you, I will be with you always even until the end of the age! All who confess Him as Lord and believe in His name will not be put to shame. Turn from your sin and call on His Name and He grant you eternal life.

He died on the cross, He was buried, and He rose again from the dead the third day. He appeared to over 40 witnesses, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. He testifies of Himself!

Read the gospels, they testify of Him! Peace and God bless. He’s my only Hope and He loves you.

Sacrifice and offering you did not desire...

Here are some more beautiful words about Jesus, the Messiah of Israel.

Mark 7:24-37

24 And from there he arose and went away to the region of Tyre and Sidon. And he entered a house and did not want anyone to know, yet he could not be hidden. 25 But immediately a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell down at his feet. 26 Now the woman was a Gentile, a Syrophoenician by birth. And she begged him to cast the demon out of her daughter. 27 And he said to her, “Let the children be fed first, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs.” 28 But she answered him, “Yes, Lord; yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs.” 29 And he said to her, “For this statement you may go your way; the demon has left your daughter.” 30 And she went home and found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.

31 Then he returned from the region of Tyre and went through Sidon to the Sea of Galilee, in the region of the Decapolis. 32 And they brought to him a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment, and they begged him to lay his hand on him. 33 And taking him aside from the crowd privately, he put his fingers into his ears, and after spitting touched his tongue. 34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.” 35 And his ears were opened, his tongue was released, and he spoke plainly. 36 And Jesus charged them to tell no one. But the more he charged them, the more zealously they proclaimed it. 37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak.”

“The Lord, the God of Israel is mighty. It’s He alone that can give sight to the blind and heal the broken hearted. Sin is a sickness and a disease. It does not matter if you live 15 years or 250 years, if you do not look to Jesus the Messiah of Israel who declared Himself to be the Son of God with power, you will die in your sins. He was born of a virgin, the Holy Spirit overshadowed her like a dove. He alone has the power to forgive sin and blott out transgression. He desires holiness, purity, and it’s only Him and His Word that can grant that.”

Psalm 40

6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire—    but my ears you have opened —    burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require.

7 Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—    it is written about me in the scroll.

8 I desire to do your will, my God;    your law is within my heart.”

“David the great prophet, priest and king testified of His goodness. He testified, or you could even say prophesied of His Righteousness. There is no one like Him, and one day He is going to rule on mount Zion, the old city of David and there’s going to be justice. I am thankful that He is merciful and full of compassion to those who look upon His completed work upon the cross! He is faithful and keeps His promises. His people Israel are a testament to that. One day the whole nation of Israel will be saved. My words don’t hold a candle to His. He is the Light of the World. Let your light shine, and remember He is beautiful! He testified that He is the door and the only door. One day all thieves and robbers will be forgotten. He’s the good shepherd, look to Him and find rest and peace for your weary soul. Remember His love, that is the love of a perfect father.”

Luke 5:17-26

17 One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. 18 Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. 19 When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

21 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, “Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? 23 Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 24 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 25 Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God. 26 Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, “We have seen remarkable things today.”

“He called the paralytic man His friend. Remember He is the friend of those who love him. If you abide in His Word and His Word abides in you, you will bear much fruit, peace, love, patience, kindness. He will teach you to hate what is evil and cling to what is good. He’s given you a new heart and one day there will not be any remembrance of the unrighteousness in this world! I would rather be a paralytic and His friend than live 900 years without opportunity to be with Him eternally. He healed the paralytic and set Him free from sin. He is merciful and His love is unsearchable. He is our Living Hope, and the Hope of His Beloved Israel! This is the Righteous God that Job faithfully served and offered sacrifices to daily as a faithful priest before God on account of his children. Jesus is the high priest that intercedes on your behalf now. He intercedes on behalf of all He has granted faith. Pray that He would increase the fruits of righteousness in your life. He is the resurrection and the Life.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. There was no man born righteous before Him. The effect of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus. Jesus is Lord. Turn from your sin and believe in Him. He rose from the dead on the third day and testified of Himself to many that He loves. He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God. He’s enthroned in glory with all wisdom, power, and dominion. All things are His. If you have not put your trust in Him, repent and believe. If you’re far off, ask Him for mercy. There’s no one like Him. He alone sets people free from sin, and the temporary god of this world, Satan, that would like nothing better than to kill, steal, and destroy. His Word is Truth. Look to His Word.

He’s coming back quickly, and He will gather all who love Him to Himself. He wants you to be rejoicing before Him eternally with the great men who have come before us. Men like Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and Job will have the privilege of sitting with Him on His throne and ruling with Him. They already are. You can be near Him eternally, that’s something He alone can grant you!

Don’t continue in unrighteousness, cry out to Him and remember who He is.

Peace and God bless.
