The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand to heaven and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

Rev 10:5-7

"Side note, don't you love that the God of Israel lives forever?! He's all powerful, no one can stop Him! He is full of strength, power, and perfect love.

As you can see from the end of the verses above, there is a mystery of God that is finished at the sounding of the seventh trumpet. This is talking about the dead and living in Christ inheriting their resurrected bodies."

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

1 Corinthians 15:51-55

"Paul speaks of the rapture (harpazó: To seize, snatch, take away by force) of the church and believers living and dead inheriting their resurrected bodies at the last trumpet. He is very specific for a reason. The verses below reference the last trumpet, the seventh trumpet, in Revelation.

Anyone teaching that the Lord is coming back before the last trumpet must be performing some type of odd mental gymnastics to justify that view in their own fleshly mind, because it is contrary to the teaching of Paul that was given to him by the Holy Spirit."

The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said:

“The kingdom of the world has become    

the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,    

and he will reign for ever and ever.”

And the twenty-four elders, who were seated on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying:

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was,

because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.

The nations were angry,    

and your wrath has come.

The time has come for judging the dead,    

and for rewarding your servants the prophets

and your people who revere your name,    

both great and small—

and for destroying those who destroy the earth.”

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm.

Revelation 11:15-19

"Revelation moves in chronological order, and the judgements are literal. Any person who tells you the Lord is coming back before this time is either uniformed, confused, a liar, or a false teacher. God is merciful." So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

2nd Peter 3:14-18

Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
