“What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? Certainly not! For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion.” So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. For the Scripture says to the Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.” Therefore He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens. You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault? For who has resisted His will?” But indeed, O man, who are you to reply against God? Will the thing formed say to him who formed it, “Why have you made me like this?” Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor? What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory, even us whom He called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? As He says also in Hosea: “I will call them My people, who were not My people, And her beloved, who was not beloved.” “And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not My people,’ There they shall be called sons of the living God.” Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved. For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth.” And as Isaiah said before: “Unless the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, We would have become like Sodom, And we would have been made like Gomorrah.””

The Lord loves His remnant. His Beloved.

Jesus is the Hope of Israel, and the only resurrected Lord. He is the way, the Truth and the Life. Apart from Him there is no life or hope. There is only vanity, death and eternal destruction in the lake of fire. However, in Him is freedom from sin, and death which are the power of the law of Moses. All who believe in Him and abide in Him are granted an eternal inheritance in heaven. He said I will never leave you nor forsake you, I will be with you always even until the end of the age! All who confess Him as Lord and believe in His name will not be put to shame. Turn from your sin and call on His Name and He grant you eternal life.

He died on the cross, He was buried, and He rose again from the dead the third day. He appeared to over 40 witnesses, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. He testifies of Himself!

Read the gospels, they testify of Him! Peace and God bless. He’s my only Hope and He loves you.

Will you be found clothed?

Proverbs 11:28-30

28  He who trusts in his riches will fall,But the righteous will flourish like foliage.

29  He who troubles his own house will inherit the wind,And the fool will be servant to the wise of heart.

“If you would like to be wise, make yourself a fool for Christ. Make your boast in the Lord, Our Righteousness. He alone has the power to redeem a life from the pit, to ransom a life from the grave and present one as blameless and spotless, and upright before the presence of His glory with great joy! For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, and despised the shame. He took upon Himself your sin on the cross and joyfully endured separation from God, His Father, whom He declares Himself to be. These things are too magnificent for us. And then He sat down at the right hand of God. There is none like Him. He did this for you, out of righteous love.”

“When you believe in Him, you become His spotless bride. His promises are first to those that are Jewish. This should be obvious, He used His own special possession, His remnant, His people to author the scriptures. His Spirit spoke through these men and women that He chose. He did it all. He completed the work, and has given you His Word as a gift. I will say it again, my words do not hold a candle to His.”

Isaiah 61:8-118

“For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, And will make with them an everlasting covenant.

9 Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, And their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, That they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed.”

10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

11 For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

John 5:24-30

24 “Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.

25 “Truly I tell you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he has granted to the Son to have life in himself. 27 And he has granted him the right to pass judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28 Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear his voice 29 and come out—those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of condemnation.

30 “I can do nothing on my own. I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

“He alone can blot out your transgressions and clothe you in white. Garments of salvation, and the robe of righteousness, that reminds me of Joseph’s coat of many colors. Joseph was imbued with the same wisdom of Solomon, by the same Spirit of God. He is the only Spirit of wisdom and revelation. Nothing exceeds knowledge of the Holy One. Remember Joseph was thrown in a pit, just like Jesus was buried with the rich in His grave. These are first hand eye witness accounts, if you do not believe, you have got a problem. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Do you have ears to hear, and eyes to see?”

Mark 15:42-45

Now when evening had come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath, Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, coming and taking courage, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Pilate marveled that He was already dead; and summoning the centurion, he asked him if He had been dead for some time. So when he found out from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.

John 19:40-42

40 So they took the body of Jesus and wrapped it in strips of linen cloth with the fragrant spices, as is the Jews’ custom to prepare for burial. 41 Now there was a garden at the place where he was crucified, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one was yet buried. 42 So there, on account of the day of preparation of the Jews, because the tomb was close by, they buried Jesus.

“Let’s look at more glorious prophecy about Him. He’s the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. There’s no one like Him. Behold His glory.”

Isaiah 53:9-12

9He was assigned a grave with the wicked,

and with a rich man in His death,

although He had done no violence,

nor was any deceit in His mouth.

10Yet it was the LORD’s will to crush Him

and to cause Him to suffer;

and when His soul is made a guilt offering,

He will see His offspring, He will prolong His days,

and the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.

11After the anguish of His soul,

He will see the light of life and be satisfied.

“He entered into Abraham’s bosom and had fullness of joy with those wonderful patriarchs, saints and prophets. The poor man Lazarus was there rejoicing before Him. The Lord Jesus, is beyond wonderful. Only He can clothe me in righteousness, I will never be worthy, yet He welcomes those in who call on Him.”

By His knowledge My righteous Servant will justify many,

and He will bear their iniquities.

12Therefore I will allot Him a portion with the great,

and He will divide the spoils with the strong,

Ephesians 4:7-13

7Now to each one of us grace has been given according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8This is why it says:

“When He ascended on high,

He led captives away,

and gave gifts to men.”b

9What does “He ascended” mean, except that He also descended to the lower parts of the earth? 10He who descended is the very One who ascended above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

11And it was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to equip the saints for works of ministry and to build up the body of Christ, 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God, as we mature to the full measure of the stature of Christ.

“This is only the beginning, the gifts He has given to those in this life are going to echo onward into eternity. He has placed eternity in the hearts of men. He created all things. Your life’s a gift, and you are not truly alive unless you look upon the Son of Man, the Christ. Abraham gave Him a tenth of the spoils when he defeated Kedorlaomer and the kings who were with him. What have you been given except that which you have received?”

because He has poured out His life unto death,

and He was numbered with the transgressors.

Yet He bore the sin of many

and made intercession for the transgressors.

“When you believed in Him, you were buried into His death, and raised with Him in His resurrection, and granted newness of life, even seated with Him in heavenly places. Don’t turn back, because there is nothing for you in this world, except new life in Him until He returns again, sin should no longer have dominion over you.”

1 John 2:15-17

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

“No one can snatch His beloved from His hand. He has spoken these words. He will gather all of His beloved to Himself in Jerusalem. Look at how the Messiah of Israel prophesied about these righteous mighty men of valor, faith, strength and courage.”

Matthew 23:34-39

34Because of this, I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify, and others you will flog in your synagogues and persecute in town after town. 35And so upon you will come all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36Truly I tell you, all these things will come upon this generation.

37O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were unwilling! 38Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39For I tell you that you will not see Me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’”

“There will be a new day, for He is the Day. Joy comes in the morning! His joy will be fulfilled. Will you be numbered amongst these beloved men and women of the faith in Zion, in Jerusalem? He is the Dawn, He is the Day, He is the Bright Morning Star.”

1 Peter 1:16-21

16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. 17 For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 18 And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

1 John 5

5 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of him. 2 This is how we know that we love God’s children: when we love God and obey his commands. 3 For this is what love for God is: to keep his commands. And his commands are not a burden, 4 because everyone who has been born of God conquers the world. This is the victory that has conquered the world: our faith.

The Certainty of God’s Testimony

5 Who is the one who conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 6 Jesus Christ—he is the one who came by water and blood, not by water only, but by water and by blood. And the Spirit is the one who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify: 8 the Spirit, the water, and the blood—and these three are in agreement. 9 If we accept human testimony, God’s testimony is greater, because it is God’s testimony that he has given about his Son. 10 The one who believes in the Son of God has this testimony within himself. The one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 The one who has the Son has life. The one who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Proverbs 13:12

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.

“There will be twelve manner of fruit on these trees, it’s leaves are for the healing of the nations, and there’s an opportunity for those who call out to Him to have fellowship with His Father, who is Spirit, and enter into eternal dwellings in glory. His word is Truth.”

“After the Lord of Heaven’s Armies pours out His wrath on this dying world and refines the nation of Israel. All those who are Jewish by ethnicity will be saved. Two thirds will be cut off, but one third will be refined and brought through the fire and be presented before Him as perfect because they will look upon the Messiah of Israel, whom they have pierced, for Salvation.”

Zechariah 14:7-97

Sword, awake against my shepherd, against the man who is my associate—this is the declaration of the Lord of Armies.Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; I will turn my hand against the little ones.

8 In the whole land—this is the Lord’s declaration—two-thirds will be cut off and die, but a third will be left in it.

9 I will put this third through the fire;I will refine them as silver is refinedand test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will answer them.I will say, ‘They are my people,’and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’”

“After He redeems His purchase possession Israel. Here is a taste of what will follow. Taste and see that the Lord is good. He is good and He is gracious.”

Zechariah 14:8-11

8 On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half of it toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea, in summer and winter alike. 9 On that day the Lord will become King over the whole earth—the Lord alone, and his name alone. 10 All the land from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem will be changed into a plain. But Jerusalem will be raised up and will remain on its site from the Benjamin Gate to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses. 11 People will live there, and never again will there be a curse of complete destruction. So Jerusalem will dwell in security.

12 This will be the plague with which the Lord strikes all the people who have warred against Jerusalem: their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day a great panic from the Lord will be among them, so that each will seize the hand of another, and the hand of one will rise against the other. 14 Judah will also fight at Jerusalem, and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected: gold, silver, and clothing in great abundance. 15 The same plague as the previous one will strike the horses, mules, camels, donkeys, and all the animals that are in those camps.

16 Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the Lord of Armies, and to celebrate the Festival of Shelters. 17 Should any of the families of the earth not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of Armies, rain will not fall on them. 18 And if the people of Egypt will not go up and enter, then rain will not fall on them; this will be the plague the Lord inflicts on the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Shelters. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Festival of Shelters.

20 On that day, the words Holy to the Lord will be on the bells of the horses. The pots in the house of the Lord will be like the sprinkling basins before the altar. 21 Every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the Lord of Armies. All who sacrifice will come and use the pots to cook in. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of Armies.

“If you believe in Jesus, and choose to walk before Him in righteousness in this life through the power He alone can grant you, then you are going to be serving before Him here, clothed in His likeness. This world has nothing in comparison to what He would like to offer you. His Word, is His voice, and the Christian Bible is His Word. I am just a gentile who reads English. He authored all languages and gives men various tongues with which they can communicate. These words were originally written in Hebrew, Greek, etc. He doesn’t change. He’s the Father of Lights without shadow of turning. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. His love will stand the test of time, and His word communicates who He is. He is the God of the living, not the dead.”

Ezekiel 47:1-12

47 Then he brought me back to the entrance of the temple and there was water flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the temple faced east. The water was coming down from under the south side of the threshold of the temple, south of the altar. 2 Next he brought me out by way of the north gate and led me around the outside to the outer gate that faced east; there the water was trickling from the south side. 3 As the man went out east with a measuring line in his hand, he measured off a third of a mile and led me through the water. It came up to my ankles. 4 Then he measured off a third of a mile and led me through the water. It came up to my knees. He measured off another third of a mile and led me through the water. It came up to my waist. 5 Again he measured off a third of a mile, and it was a river that I could not cross on foot. For the water had risen; it was deep enough to swim in, a river that could not be crossed on foot.

6 He asked me, “Do you see this, son of man?” Then he led me back to the bank of the river. 7 When I had returned, I saw a very large number of trees along both sides of the riverbank. 8 He said to me, “This water flows out to the eastern region and goes down to the Arabah. When it enters the sea, the sea of foul water, the water of the sea becomes fresh. 9 Every kind of living creature that swarms will live wherever the river flows, and there will be a huge number of fish because this water goes there. Since the water will become fresh, there will be life everywhere the river goes. 10 Fishermen will stand beside it from En-gedi to En-eglaim. These will become places where nets are spread out to dry. Their fish will consist of many different kinds, like the fish of the Mediterranean Sea. 11 Yet its swamps and marshes will not be healed; they will be left for salt. 12 All kinds of trees providing food will grow along both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. Each month they will bear fresh fruit because the water comes from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be used for eating and their leaves for healing.”

“I have heard it said that the sea of foul water is the Dead Sea, He’s going to resurrect that to newness of life as well. Do you really think He cannot redeem, or save your life from destruction? You did not create yourself. He called His disciples to be fishers of men. There will be men fishing in these wonderful parts of Israel. I hope you will be amongst them. He will make all things new and as the Prince of peace, He will usher in perfect peace. There will be no peace until He returns, and every eye will see Him. His temple is going to be on mount Zion, the old City of David. He is the helper of those who fear Him.”

Proverbs 11:30

30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.

“The righteous will shine like the stars forever and ever, He said you are the light of the world. There is much treasure amongst the wise. Make His Word your treasure and you will never be put to shame.”

“Look, I do not know everything, but I know His Word is beautiful, and if He can save this wretch then who can stand against Him?”

“No one in their right mind loves death, but apart from Him there is only death, and worse than that, eternal destruction in the lake of fire from which there is no escape. Believe while there is time. He created the times and the seasons and wants you to be His purchased possession today, don’t harden your heart against Him.”

Matthew 16:21-24

21 From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day.

22 Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!”

23 But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

“If your heart is sick with sin, there’s only one remedy. Sin is a sickness. Turn from your sin and believe in Our Great God and Savior, Jesus the Son of God, who is the Messiah of Israel. He alone was born of a virgin. He died on the cross, He was buried, and He rose again the third day. He appeared to over forty witnesses. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God. All things are under His feet. Look, His return is nearer than when you first believed. He is going to clothe those He loves in a new resurrected body like His that is without sin. Enter into His rest.

One day there will be perfect justice, ask Him for mercy today. Remember His grace, and His compassion fails not. Put on Christ and make no provision for the flesh, the flesh profits nothing.

It’s a joy for anyone who loves Him to deny themself, take up their cross and follow Him because out of the heart, the old man, the flesh, proceeds all manner of wickedness that leads to death and destruction apart from freedom from sin in Christ. If the Son shall set you free you will be free indeed. Those that abide in corruption will inherit destruction, but those who abide in Him will inherit everlasting life, peace and fullness of joy. He is more than able to grant you these things. He has granted us all things pertaining to Life and godliness. You cannot have true godliness apart from Him.”

“If you have called out to Him, or remembered His goodness be reminded of this Psalm of David.”

Psalm 91:1-2

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

He will fulfill Psalm 91 in Israel. The Lord is the shelter of all who trust in Him. He is my shelter.

“Here are some glorious words inspired by the Spirit of God from Saul of Tarsus who later became known as Paul, who was a first hand eye witness of His glory and a partaker in His sufferings.”

Ist Corinthians 15

Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.

3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles. 8 Then last of all He was seen by me also, as by one born out of due time.

9 For I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore, whether it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

12 Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. 14 And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. 15 Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. 16 For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. 17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! 18 Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable.

20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23 But each one in his own order: Christ the first fruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. 24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. 25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. 26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 27 For “He has put all things under His feet.” But when He says “all things are put under Him,it is evident that He who put all things under Him is excepted. 28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

29 Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead? 30 And why do we stand in jeopardy every hour? 31 I affirm, by the boasting in you which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily. 32 If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantage is it to me? If the dead do not rise, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!”

33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” 34 Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.

35 But someone will say, “How are the dead raised up? And with what body do they come?” 36 Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. 37 And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. 38 But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.

39 All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds.

40 There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 41 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. 43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. 44 It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. 45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. 47 The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven. 48 As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

55

“O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
